March 2020 – time for a new video! Many new locos, figures and cars in Neustadt, so let’s start with the Austrian Army train with four brandnew Leopard tanks. Last week, I bought this this small Lokomotion loco for my friend Wolfgang. He’s currently abroad, so he gave me the permission to test it and have some fun with it. I’ve had that much fun with it, I started filming. And now we have a new 16min Neustadt video – all because of this small loco ^^ It’s fitted with an electric coupling – I love it! A class 2043 passing the wood heading for Neustadt on the presentation module. On the pass, a heavy freight train runs down to Neustadt and it seems there are problems on the train. Hopefully it can reach the station. Oncoming traffic! Another heavy freight train runs up to the pass. In the station, the small Stadler is winding onto platform 21. But he has to make a change to platform 2 to replace another train today. Why? There is restricted service these days in Neustadt cause of the construction site on platforms 2-5! New platform roofs are going to built and just a small area of the platforms can be served. Perfect for the Stadler. The bigger part of the platforms are closed off, so the passengers could not get there. My uncle sent me these new figures some weeks ago. The skiers are waiting for their train heading to Schladming to have wonderful skiing holidays in Styria. I love the new roofs even they’re not ready built yet! Short trains can serve the restricted access platforms, longer trains have to use platform 1. Oh no – the Cargo Serv loco shows many problems on the screen so the driver has to stop the train on the track. But it’s way to stand still is enormous, so its running down and it’s getting slower and slower. On the other side of Neustadt, the CAT is passing heading for the Vienna international airport. The skiers start their journey to Schladming in the Railjet from platform 1. The Cargo Serv train has now stopped at the small viaduct and is broke down. The track is now closed for traffic and the driver is asking for help via phone. The loco screams “Störung” – “disruption” in english ^^ Go go go! The train stuff in Neustadt gets on this class 2143 to drive up to the Cargo Serv to haul off the broke down train. The driver tries to make a restart of the loco, but it’s still screaming “Störung” 😀 Help is on the way! The workers do the coupling – not nice with trains passing by just 2 metres off your back. Meanwhile miss Lilly is watching an Intercity train on the presentation module….
